Day 10

Day 10.....Laspaúles.....We decided to stay here 2 nights and relax with very little driving. Another hot sunny day around 25 degrees. Caught up with the washing this morning, had a walk along river and up behind the campsite where Colin briefly adopted a lovely dog! We had a picnic lunch under the shade of the tree and then we sat there and read a while. We took a short drive to explore the area and yet again the scenery and the villages in the hills and mountains were beautiful. We drove up to one but not sure we were allowed.... we don’t understand Spanish notices.....!!! When we came out we suddenly saw a motor bike heading towards us.....we were on the wrong side of the road! Shock! Tonight I cooked us a tasty meal. We had dry bread to use up, bacon from home, tinned tomatoes and eggs. I baked the bacon, bread and tomatoes with lots of seasoning in the oven and served with eggs on top. Quite fun cooking in Bertie and cheaper than eating out! Heading for Andorra tomorrow. Trying to follow the good weather.
