Swallow You Up

This was our last day in Galveston. I caught her in this moment, watching the sand run through her toes with the tide. This was our last time in this place that we have mixed emotions about. I watched her like this for a minute and then I looked out at the water and it felt so big, so right. Like it could swallow us all up and we wouldn't even mind.
