Sunny Saturday

Up fairly early , washing done and hung out before a man came to see about laying laminate in our summerhouse.

Late morning we walked into town, treated ourselves to brunch in the cafe, picked up s couple of bits we needed then walked back....really pleasant in the sunshine!

Once home, it was on to planting up what used to be the herb garden! All the herbs have been dug up trimmed and planted in terracotta pots which has freed up this space, which will now be another flower bed.
Hub mowed the lawns, still growing like the clappers :-)

Bought a mixture of plants, in whites, varying shades of pink and blues/lavender.....should look good once established. Also put in 40 small narcissi, and made a start cutting back some of the pond growth....::;it really does need some serious attention this autumn!!

Made griddled chicken wrapped in bacon and fresh pineapple skewers, with mushroom, red onion and yellow peppers for dinner, with corn on the cob and side salad...was yummy!!

Only 3lb to target now :-D
