Fill her up .....

A windy day with cloud and sunshine and the constant threat of rain. Nothing new there then .
Mrs F and Littlemiss away at Innerleithen all day at a pipe band competition . Seems her band won quite a few prizes, she even got to go up to collect a cup.
A day spent carting in barley off the combine. It was coming in at 19% moisture which wasn’t ideal , but better in a shed at that than brackled over and wasted on the ground .Baled up the end rig straw before it gets rained on in between loads.
By tonight we had the 45 acres cut and hopefully if it doesn’t rain the straw will be fit to bale tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
