September Gladiolus

Gales have been blowing all day, dull and heavy rain.  Still gales tonight, but it has dried up.  

My weekend on in the museum.  With the poor day, we have been really busy.  There seemed to be a lot of backpackers about.  A cruise ship cancelled due to the wind.  I also did a highlight tour for a group of Danish tourists.  When the rain finally eased, I managed to get out walkies with Sammy.  Another quiet evening on the couch, with mam and Elise and a cuppa. 

The gales are SW, so mostly not too bad on my garden,  but the winds have still hit parts of it.  Thankfully they have missed my gladiolus so far.  They only started flowering a few days ago, better late than never, and I don't want them blown away.  Poor Maggie-Jean will have to start thinking about getting dressed, winter is coming and she's still going around like it's summer!!
