Before and after
There’s a great crop of damsons growing in the hedge in front of our house. This year they are sweet enough to eat raw but I stewed a few to freeze and have picked some to eat. There’s plenty left for others though nowadays not many people forage for wild fruit. I might make some damson gin when I get back, for presents.
We have packed the van ready for a week in Scotland. Now I need to get to Morpeth to see what the MSK lot have to say about my neck.
