Spot the Bees!
We're back in Saltaire. I love this place!
On our way up to the shops there was a beautiful array of various purple flowers. These Michaelmas Daisies really caught my eye; they're so pretty and the bees loved them too.
They were one of my Mum's favourite flowers along with Lavender, Roses, Pansies and Livingstone Daisies.
It's a bit early to post them for Michaelmas Day which is 29th September but I couldn't wait until then!
This afternoon I went to Salt's Mill again and browsed round all the art materials and books.
I bought some knitting yarn in a lovely craft shop - a lovely deep grey colour for a jumper for me. Then I went in a vintage shop and bought an old but brand new woollen blanket for on our boat bed - a lovely rosy pink colour.
We did the charity shops this morning too and I found another Margaret Forster book - The Memory Box and a Joules stripey sweatshirt and Frank found a guitar tablature book for traditional finger picking music (he is learning it as I write) and some CDs.
That's our bit of retail therapy for this month! :-)
