Busy Days.

Today I got up early to make French Onion Tarts. Went over to Richard's to drop off the ever accumulating pile of stuff I had for the dinner party including stuff for the walk on the beach, Martha's 21 presents, food, and all my stuff for staying over. Max and Jonny were over there too so we hung out for a while. Clare picked me up and we picked up Cressy and drove to Lizzy's for our secret santa gathering. Cue more Christmas foods, old friends, strange catch ups, fairy lights, dancing, Christmas crackers and present giving. Was nice to see everyone and Lizzy's shed is just the coolest place to hang out.

Max came to pick me up as I had to leave early for Richard's dinner party. We were the first to arrive and everyone else gradually turned up. Gave Martha her presents and the food seemed to go down well. Richard might get mocked by the boys - 'This is the best chicken I've ever tasted' standing for 'did you find this chicken in at the dump' etc - but it really wasn't too bad. And there were great desserts of profiteroles (made by Georgie) and Red wine soaked pear tarts with raspberries (made by Martha with help from her niece Romy & pictured above) and a good cheese board. Next Towns and Countries (with added cheating from Ryan and Georgie and Chris!) followed by the cracker challenge of two crackers in one minute (harder than you'd think!) and then people started to make like Gareth and bail leaving Max and I to stay over. Had a nice catch up chat with Richard. Norfolk can somewhat mess with my head.
