I’ve long admired the ambience of the New Forest Hospital at Lymington if ever you compare facilities at one hospital against another. But given the choice this time Mrs F opted for a consultation at the Lymington option.
But while there the placards in the reception area caught my eye. With all the furore nationally just recently about the frequent shortfalls of hospital food.
These placed just outside the hospital restaurant I considered gave a different slant on what we were hearing about the too often criticised standards of hospital food and how it is prepared.
But here was the hospital making a point of telling us its offerings were freshly baked, fresh and delicious. Tempting enough!
