The Dream

The latest installation at the Art Kiosk in Courthouse Square is currently The Dream by Fernando Escartiz.  We live in the same neighborhood as the artist so we regularly get sneak previews of his work before they go on show, the monster sculpture perched on top of the kiosk we had seen in process when we walked past his house - always a fun thing to do as you never know what you're going to see!  More about the artist and the installation.  And a couple extras, one of the bed inside the kiosk (couldn't get the other creatures floating above it in the same shot, but you can glimpse them in the windows of the main blip) and another write up about the artist in the window.  It's a very cool piece, I think one of my favorites of the year so far.
