Drizzly and dull.
No gym today but a workout dusting, hoovering and moping this morning whilst Alan went out for the first time on his own. He went to the doctors to take his prescription for filling and then to the local bakers for a loaf. It is the first time he has felt confident enough to go out on his own. I am really pleased for him.
I used to send him to the shops with a list when I wanted to get the housework done and it is so much easier when there is no one there to 'help'! As is was so wet I decided on some baking and have made a Lemon Drizzle traybake. It looks tasty!
The only picture taken today of this juvenile Sparrow resting in the tree. It still has plenty of downy feathers and looks a bit lost - it stayed quite a while.
An early dinner tonight - left over Sunday Roast and veg as I am going, along with ValC, to a Camera Club nearby. The first evening meet for the club after the summer break, so we will see if it is what we want. Val is coming to pick me up and Mr C staying in with Alan for a good chinwag and no doubt dissecting the England Cricket team performance!
