San Carlos Farmers Market
We decided to go to San Carlos for lunch as they have a nice shopping street, Laurel Street, full of restaurants and shops and locally owned places. We arrived not knowing they had a weekly farmers market on a Sunday, I don't know how we've spaced on this until now. It was 1:30 p.m. and they start packing up at 2 p.m. so we got some good deals, we got masses of berries for $15 (I shall be making some raspberry jam), and a free bag of romaine lettuce leaves. So we came home laden with wonderful things and ate some of our goodies for lunch instead of doing a restaurant. Delicious muscat grapes for dessert.
I really want that green table cloth with the strawberry design in the foreground.
