Mid flight

Slept well, after working in the garden yesterday.

We woke to a sunny morning, although a bit chilly, we decided to head out for a walk along the canal......it was quite busy, lots of boats, walkers, dogs, bikes, joggers, amblers & anglers!

We ended up at Leigh, so popped into Costa for light refreshments, before walking back.

On the way back we encountered this heron, flitting from one bank to the other. I lined this shot up as a dog walker approached and sure enough he took flight once he sensed the dog!
As usual, not quite as sharp as Id hoped :-/

We. locked up 11k steps, hubs knee stood up pretty well, only the last half mile did he start to "feel it"!

Spent a couple of hours sorting through Reflections & Shadows images for camera club tomorrow night. Lightroom still causes me problems, couldnt remember how to take off a keyword filter :-( sorted it eventually!!!!
