3 years

this day 3 years ago i left the UK for 8 months
my first time away from home
i flew half way around the world
and landed in a country very different to what i knew.
zambia.

huge array of emotions were felt that day:scared, excited, nervous, anxious, desparate to leave, brave and young!
it was a tough journey (i was sick 6 times) but liberating and exciting!
the start of many journeys since then
and many more to come

God knew that.
im excited for where God will lead me
and what i will be doing 3 years from now!

it was a journey where i met awesome friends
experienced scary but lifechanging things
had my horizons broadened
and i fell in love with africa for myself.
