Tyred Out
I thought when the first tyre warning came on a few weeks back that after pumping them up and resetting them that I'd be fine. I made the effort on Sunday- another 'back to school' job - and I was all good.
Until yesterday, when on my way to work, a more worrying warning came on advising me to 'stop carefully' and not to drive very fast. Again, I thought I'd leave it until Saturday morning, and then re-inflate all the tyres myself.
I decided to quickly pop to the shops, but then an even more serious warning came on! So I went around the block and right back home!
Having little faith in my own capabilities any more, I ventured forth to the local tyre place and left it with them. As it turned out, there was a nail on the inner rim of the tyre, so of course it needed a new one. I'm glad to have peace of mind again. I don't know how to change a tyre...
Lucy came round this morning and we played with her Lego. She jumped about with joy and I entertained her with the measuring stacking cups and my smoothie cup. On the plus side, she found its missing lid as she rifled through the cupboards! She wanted to get my blender out, but when I told her it was noisy, she slowly backed away and came very close to me with her arm on my shoulder ;-)
