Teeside

We stopped at a different place this afternoon, so not one of my usual shots taken at South Gare.  It was a last minute decision to drive out there, really prompted by the blue skies.  We were fairly late in the afternoon arriving having stopped for lunch in Castleton and we didn’t stay long.  We ended up on the stretch of beach between Redcar and Marske - closer to Redcar initially where we bought ice-cream at the dog walkers cafe and then on a bit further where there is a loo and a little more shelter from the onshore wind.  The wind was cold but the light was beautiful.  I did a little bird photographer along the tide-line where there were Oyster Catchers, Sanderling and Ringed Plovers at our first stop and gulls and a family of crows at our second.
