A Sweet Little Reminder

The day was spent traveling and visiting with my parents. The trip to my hometown is about three hours, so it made for a long day.

We were getting together to celebrate Christmas, as we had not been able to do so previously. My mom had left their Christmas tree and decorations up so we could see them.

As Daughter and I were sitting on the couch, we both seemed to hone in on a cute simple little angel sitting on a table. We both took photos with our cell phones and my mother told us that was one of her favorite little decorations. Then she told us my Aunt Lena, my father's older sister who passed away last June, had given it to my mom for driving her to Bible studies.

As I played around, moving the little angel a bit here and there, the light filtered in through the window, causing a little "sparkle" to appear on the angel's wing!
