New Year's Day walk

Not a lot of sleep was had by us the night before. So by the time it was just me, Anna and Cindy at Anna's house we were fairly exhausted. Most of the afternoon was spent dozing in front of Pride & Prejudice until we decided it was time to be traditional and motivated ourselves to go out for a dog walk and to the pub. I took this photo on the walk and am quite pleased with it. Hopefully it'll be a good year for photography.

Had a nice time chatting over some beer in the pub and having a proper catch-up as I hadn't seen them properly (ie not over Skype) for quite some time. Then went home to find Anna's mum had returned and we all had a roast before an early night.
