Spotted

'My you've grown,' was my first thought seeing this sparrowhawk out of the bedroom window this morning. He was last year's youngster I'm sure and he knew his territory from where he flew.

Spotted - yes well hardly surprising as I'd ignored him first thing and started getting dressed knowing full well if I went downstairs to get camera he would have flown. Peeking round the curtain ....twice...he was still there and the blipper in me couldn't resist trying to get the shot. Flew downstairs ...camera, battery, card, lens, settings ...? Then it was a question of the curtain and getting the lens out of the patio door, which I did.

Weird how the camera angle seems to be at eye level when actually I was a lot higher.
