The Smoke......

...After the fire.
Actually there are fires still raging not so very far away from us...but...in a different direction to the ones a few weeks ago. All we can smell is smoke most of the time.
Another hot day...well into the 30's I was almost tempted to put on the air con for a while there.

Anyway no time for dilly dallying ...it's Jaiya's Birthday tomorrow and I'm needing to get some more semblance of normalcy in the house as we are having guests over to stay and a wee celebration....hmm I might even delve into a vodka.
