Wet Feet....

We have had a lot of rain over the last two days. Enough to put parts of this vineyard alongside Doctors Creek under water. Some of the flooding had drained away by this afternoon but the vines will have wet feet for some time to come. Of course this bit of bad weather is absolutely nothing compared with the devastating Hurricane Dorian that has decimated the Bahamas. Our hearts go out to all those people whose lives have been turned upside down. Kia Kaha...Arohanui.
Molly our Maine Coon girl is still absent. Folk are being helpful and very kind and encouraging. We live in a very caring community.
I went to Pastel Painting at a different venue this morning. Our newly formed group has water-colour artists and other sorts of artists... an interesting group. Later I joined three friends for our monthly lunchtime get-together.
