Fractals

Delicate branches make
Fractal shapes against the sky,
Regular but wild.
As if on the ocean floor
Reaching up to find the light.


A very grey day, today. I took this this morning, standing under a pine tree and looking at the branches from underneath. It stuck me that it looked a bit like seaweed, so I played with it a bit and this is the result. Even more weird in large!

Tash bought us a Yotam Ottolenghi's cook book for Christmas, so will be making something yummy (hopefully) from that soon ... to be followed by Chocolate and Beetroot cake and creme fraiche ..... starting to feel hungry now.
