Bergenia......

We had a phone call from a nice dog-walking lady today. She saw a cat like Molly yesterday near Brayshaw Park alongside the Taylor River. It was raining hard so I donned wet weather gear and went looking. Talked with some workers at the Park. They said that same cat had been hanging around there for several weeks. I disappointed but glad I went to look. These pink flowers are Bergenia, not as I thought ... Chatham Island Forget Me Nots.
