WELCOME HOME

I was welcomed home with candles and a banner. Oh it was nice to be home and to get into my own bed. I even had a HOT shower!!!
After a long lie in The Rev and I went to a local pub for lunch. A sharing platter and a raspberry gin...very civilised !!!
In the evening he arranged for a few friends to come over for a “gathering “ it was lovely to catch up but in truth I think we were both glad that no one stayed too long as it was all catching up with us!!
I only drink Gin on 2 occasions...when it’s my birthday and when it’s not!!
