But the work is done: a real German Zwetchgenkuchen. The special plums, here called Italian plums, were harvested this afternoon from my very old plum tree . It is carrying a big load of plums for the first time in 7 years. Of course I had to try a little corner, hence the missing piece.
What a delicious treat!
