Funchal market

Today we made a walking tour of Funchal. Explored the beautiful public parks; watched the displays of traditional dancing and singing; visited the market with it's fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and flowers; wandered down the narrow street in the old town where the doors to the residences are artistically painted; and took the cable car up to Monte and watched the street tobogganing.
