Leprechaun

We didn't find any in the glens - but it turns out there was a Leprechaun in great grandad's workshop all along. Matthew was rather taken by the collection of model planes - and it was brilliant to see him carrying on the family game of trying to get all the way down the hall without setting the movement detector light off. He was suspiciously good at it - we all suspect it's less sensitive than it used to be.

Later off to Carrick Fergus castle in the rain. And an absolutely cracking Italian meal to follow before heading to the overnight ferry home. Repeated tannoy announcements (2 passengers and 1 staff member called, and an advert for the shop!) were an annoyance when trying to get a small boy to sleep - but he definitely got a lot more than the rest of us!
