Although this is not the famous view of John Constable's picture of Salisbury Cathedral, he did paint this view looking across the water meadows from the Old Mill to the cathedral. Except for the paintings of his home area in East Anglia, he did more around Salisbury than anywhere else with over 300 sketches and paintings.
(Unless I manage to blip tomorrow this is likely to be the last for two weeks as I might have little access to wifi)
