I don't expect Trump will have appreciated the beach here when he recently visited his golf course at Turnberry about a mile away near those buildings. He could have enjoyed the varied walks around Culzean with its extensive woods, gardens and little beaches as well as the castle where the former President Elsenhower stayed but, apart from anything else, that would have caused even more headaches and costs for his security. Today my friend and I continued to count the wild flowers as we used to do each month when we visited regularly at all times of year. We know the quite secluded paths where few tourists go as well as the places where we could find fairly rare flowers and today did not disappoint. There are tiny little beaches where we have found agates and swum but this large beach is right at the boundary of the park and today covered in parts by many jellyfish. In the distance can be seen the 340m (1100 ft) high Ailsa Craig, sometimes called Paddy's Milestone as it's halfway between Scotland and Ireland.
