~Mount Taranaki~Where I now call home!

I just love it here! New PLymouth is just SO stunning! We took the family on the Wilkies Pools Loop Track. It was an easy 30 min walk up to where the river has several drop off points into deep clear pools. The kids had a ball swimming in the fresh freezing water. Ive never seen such clear river water! It was truly stunning. I have done dozens of walks in Auckland and a few others to lovely water falls around the north Island but this was something else! With the mountain sitting majestically above you with snow still sitting on its tips, I was in awe! This photo was taken about half way down the loop track back to the carpark.
