Big Fish doing his usual!

This is a Hippocampe outdoor chair.  It can go up mountains, over sand, rough terrain,  etc.  It's an amazing chair that you can get funded for from various charities.  I've always wanted Big F to be able to sit in one but because of the strength of his extensor pattern he has never been able to.  Or not when we last tried about 10 years ago.  But then they didn't have all the add-ons like head piece, body supports, etc. So at a beach not far from us they have just started to lend them out so disabled people can get back on the beach!  So we thought we would go over and try one when I had a carer to help lift.  So Big F did his usual, sat really well right down to the waters edge.  Then to test the chair I played the hokey cokey (guaranteed to  increase his extension patterns) and no we wont be getting one.  See extras for the changes in position and the resignation on my face that no it wont be the one for us.  We are waiting on an appointment for the possibility of a bespoke aluminium three wheeler!  Fingers crossed we can design it well enough to hold his movement patterns.
