A very long day

Toda we got up really early and went to the airport. Mum, Tim and Michael came with us. The flight was really long. We ended up sat next to a very sweet and chatty girl, which was nice. When we got to LA the immigration there was awful! It took us 2 hours to get through as we had ended up in the slowest queue! Then when we got to the desk the officer was so rude and quizzed us about our future job prospects! Then we got a taxi to the place where we are staying, which is lovely! We found it on airbnb and the lady who owns it is so sweet and very chatty. We are staying right on the beach and we watched the sun go down (hence the photo), it was beautiful! Nothing on South African sunsets though! A little later we walked further down the beach to get some dinner at this cute little place. Then finally gave up and went to bed at about 8pm- which with 8 hours time difference we thought wasn't too bad!
