Red Cockscomb

I was trying to capture the details of the undulating top part of this Cockscomb flower head for today's 30 day of composition's prompt of 'S-curve', but these are really so difficult to capture , probably also because this red is one of the difficult colours for my camera. It's a very wild, vibrant red, maybe appropriate as the colour of rage, when such weird things are happening in the world.

I had a good day today myself, did my first tour of the Mattemburgh estate, two hours of the gardens and the villa, then another hour of evaluating with my mentor, I'm now an official tour guide there :-) My feet are definitely feeling it though !
