Natural onion domes

These pretty little buds are the buds of a stem of gentian flowers in my bouquet, aren't they lovely with their tiny speckles? They made me think of Russian onion domes. For Tiny Tuesday with thanks to osuzanna for hosting in August.

I'm still very tired after yesterday's golf outing, but I have had time finally to look at all the Abstract Thursday entries. I've not had time to leave comments this week but have given all entries a star.
