The rose is flowering again.
The church garden was recently tidied up, paths cleared and the shrubs pruned to a serious degree. It is wonderful to see this lovely rose budding and flowering again, after a severe cutting back, down to the ground, nearly.
There were beech nuts covering part of the pavement this morning after wind and rain.
It felt strange walking on them to get to the other side of the road.
I love all trees, especially oak and pine and beech.
I am unwordably devastated that the rainforest is on fire and suffering and long for a God Answer to save it and prevent more harm.
I firmly believe in miracles and there are times when only the Creator can sort out what us humble humans seem not to be able to cure without much obedience to God and love for the good He creates.
So, I am trying to not buy as many newspapers as before.
I miss them a lot.
I am still recycling paper, card, tins, and plastic.
I am not saying this to sound virtuous; it is what we do here along with other environmentally concerned law abiding people.
I hope you have a good peaceful Wednesday.
From the Bible:
"You, O Lord are a shield for me."
Psalm 3 : 3.
