Under lock and key

Left work feeling down in the dumps this evening and on the way to my car I noticed that the timber company (where I was parked next to) had closed down. Thankfully it's just relocated and not been a victim of the current recession but it made the street feel really desolate and like a bit of waste land. There's another 2 premises on the same road that are lying empty so between them, this one and my mood the atmosphere was bleak.
