Liberty Station

Liberty Station, the former Naval Training Center (NTC), sits directly under the flight path of the San Diego International Airport making for some very loud moments as one enjoys a cold beverage on a weekend afternoon. Many local artists display their wares in the 15 restored buildings dotted around the 351 acre grounds. There is also a residential section, a hotel area, and a variety of offices, making this mixed-use redevelopment project a popular destination for many San Deigns 20 years after the closing of the NTC.
