Easy Does It

Wee Alex's auntie took him to the woods today! They took the chairlift up Blomberg then attacked the Kletterwald climbing trails up in the trees. He wasn't too keen on this crossing, 8m up, harness or no harness! Auntie meanwhile had a ball.
Me, Peter and Veros walked up instead though and enjoyed a very pleasant lunch while they were clambering about. The walk was good, plenty of shade today, and only took 75 mins. Think that's our record. There was more excitement for Alex on the way back down as he sat shouting 'slower, slower' behind said auntie as she hurtled (slower than wanted) down the Blomberg Rutsche.
So back home and after some leftovers were demolished for dinner, Veros has just left with our terrace plants, rehousing them until next summer. That's the start of our packing up preparations. We don't rush these things.

Almost forgot Day 7 of the roadworks and a picture of a huge steel thing swinging towards a guy's head! Somebody else stepped in and saved a serious headache.
