wild swimming?

so all the younger one wanted to do was wild swim In a lake ...we went off one day to find a swimming spot full of swimsuits towels ect only to be disappoint not to find it. so today we went to a sheep dog trial which was fab....but didn't fill the day so off we went to explore..coniston was the stop we made and it was gloriously sunny...and such a lovely spot! but no swimming accessories....so leggings rolled up shoes off , lead off in the water she went with her four legged friend!  could have spent the whole day here as the had boating and water sports a cafe and ice cream....shame we didn't plan a day here (next time )

although she didn't swim the lake was shallow enough that she could go quite away out with out losing her footing. she loved it.
