Fairy garden

It was cooler this morning and I set out to do my route from Bellingham. I need to be sure that I know every twist and turn before the festival.

The sun was soon up and the temperature rocketed. Thankfully it was not as hot as yesterday. 

In Riding Wood I spent time looking at the fairy houses that appear to be deserted. The doors have gone on some and others look unoccupied.Then I found this fairy garden on one side of the base of a tree. Perhaps the door on the other side is still in use??

I was back home for lunch and had a good sleep - perhaps that cleared my brain of the morning's magic!

We are looking forward to lower temperatures soon.
