Please take my photograph

It is unheard of for Mum to ask to have her photograph taken. Later this week a new hairdresser will come and cut her hair. Mum wants her to see the style she likes. (In fact, her hair is much longer than usual, but you get the drift.)

Here is the result. She had no idea she would be today's blip!

We were at home this morning. I was today's hairdresser. Then we went to the orthotic department this afternoon about Mum's cervical collar. We saw a different orthotist who says he can have a collar made to the specifications of the one I cut down to size. Mine looks tatty and uneven, but it works. Hooray!

We came home to ice cream and to cool off.

This evening the thunder and lightning came, but has not lasted. It's still hot.

PS I suspect the hairdresser will do her own thing whatever we say........!
