Levant - Botallack - Cape Cornwall - Porthcurno

We celebrated MIL’s 80th birthday by visiting the very end of Cornwall today :-)

Little Miss wanted to see some of the mines where copper & tin were mined (as in Poldark!) so we visited 2 National Trust properties - Levant & Botallack both set against the magnificent north coast :)

Afterwards we drove along to Cape Cornwall for more wonderful views (top right) and finished the day at Porthcurno where the sea was a beautiful turquoise colour and stopped in at the Minack Open Air theatre (bottom pictures)

I think we can safely say she thoroughly enjoyed her special day!!
