Port Isaac - Tintagel

After an incredibly early start & lots of bank holiday traffic we arrived in Cornwall to celebrate MIL’s 80th :)

Our 1st stop was Port Isaac for lunch - this is a family favourite & holds lots of special memories for us all :-)

We used to visit here before Doc Martin made it famous and with many less people. We spent a very pleasant afternoon walking around the little village in glorious weather finishing off with a Cornish Cream Tea - jam first (see extra)!!

From there we headed to Tintagel to check into our hotel with more amazing views (bottom pictures) & pre-dinner drinks in the beautiful grounds watching the sun plop into the sea!!
