Sants Fiesta Mayor

Local street party time around the block here in Barcelona. A settlement has been agreed on the colour scheme issue from yesterday with an undertaking to bring the colour into line with the protected-street regulations. For those of you liked the colour, all I can say is that my blip did not do the luminous, shine-in-the-night intensity of it justice. I think it was a lot sale from an airforce base quarter-master store and previously used exclusively to mark out night landing areas. It's also the first thing we see when we wake up, literally . . . even sleeping with sunglasses on would not have been a solution to the visual shock of it . . . and this from someone whose favourite colour is orange, honest :-)
