More glorious sunshine

breakfast alfresco after walking up to fetch the paper. Potted the African violets up into larger pots. Did some dead heading in the garden then headed down to Bellamarsh. Jeanette, an old school friend is bringing her 6year old granddaughter, Grace, & newly acquired pony, Fi, to the Cockington Riding Club meeting to see how she behaves. No riding classes today, just a few fun lead classes. Mare with best tail,  Pony with prettiest eyes, & Pony I'd most like to take home with me. 2nd, 4th, & 1st in the final class. Fi behaved perfectly, & Grace had 3 rosettes, a trophy plus a big smile on her face. We were just packing up before heading to the ice cream van when the van drove past us & left the field.  ah well, never mind.
Back home for lunch, sat in the sunshine for an hour or so then I headed down to CK. Swung by Colin's orchard to get a pic for today's Blip, picked up a few windfalls, & blackberries. Popped in for a coffee with Mum, had a chat ended up doing a little gardening job for her, then headed home to make dinner.

A fairly quiet day.
