Bad vs Good

Today was all sorted: Quickly nip to the opticians in Knutsford and then back home to collect Chester Dog and then off to Delamere Forest.

Bad: It took us 2 hrs for our eye tests
Good: Incredibly helpful, patient staff, very pleasant experience all round

Bad: I am official old and need reading glasses in the evenings
Good: My eyes are very healthy otherwise

Bad: The hit on the credit card
Good: 2 for 1 offer for both of us

As it took longer than expected, we were hungry.

Bad: We had to wait for a table at ViaVia
Good: We didn't end up sitting next to George Osborn this time

Bad: No mascapone for my fav sandwich
Good: Discovering the Aubergine, Asparagus & Fontina Panini

Walking past the shops back to the car, much later than we wanted.

Bad: The sale was still on in FatFace
Good: I now have a rather lovely new skirt

Bad: Bio Oil no longer on offer in Boots
Good: I found it much cheaper online

On the way home we decided it was too late to venture to Delamere Forest.

Bad: Not as much fresh air as I had hoped
Good: Once home the sun came out and we walked Chester round the village

On balance it feels like it was a good day - however I may review that when the credit card bill comes in...
