Storm kettle provides resilience (think Brexit!) and entertainment for D. - and her audience.  Some of us remember when she tried to boil it with the cork 'loosely' in place (  ...and who it was said the cork would just pop gently out as the water came to the boil).  Ed: makes a change not doing this in the rain with a howling gale.
