Flower Friday With My Flower Boy

I've heard of flower girls at weddings, but today...Merrick was my flower boy. He wanted to stay in the car, but I told him I needed him for a model.

A local gardener does 2 different lots in the downtown area...his house and his dad's house next door. A large variety of plants, and even a "volcano" that is spewing smoke in the middle picture. 

Merrick and I returned my soda bottles today ($6.30) , hit three thrift stores, and had lunch out at Wendy's.


I don't know what kind of plant it is, but I love the "elephant ear" leaves in the picture on the left.
