Traipsing the Trail With Two Toddlers

The baby sand-hill was close to her parents, but the fawn was not very close to her mama. I talked to her sternly.

"YOU'RE MUCH TOO EXPOSED STANDING IN THE PATH!
ARE YOU TRYING TO BRING UP YOUR MOTHER'S WRATH?"

I had 5 different birds eating out of my hand this morning. Chickadees, nuthatches, a downy woodpecker, a red-winged blackbird, and a mourning dove. I wasn't going to take any feeding pictures, but it was hard to resist the giant dove, and that picture is in the Extras.
