I could have remained in bed this morning and slept on, after our late arrival home last night, but I shifted myself and headed out to a sewing day.
It was our general sewing day and a good turnout by the two quilt groups. The lady next to me has a lovely selection of old tin boxes which she uses. I continued assembling my blocks. The blocks on the right belong to one of the ladies in my group.
As I drove away from the house this morning there was a squashed hedgehog on the road. I removed it when I got home this afternoon. It was hard to tell if it was my little boy, so I put some biscuits out early and kept an eye out to see if they got eaten. As I was checking things out about 9 pm, a little soul came scampering across the front garden to say hello. I was so pleased to see him and to find a little later that he had eaten some of the biscuits. I’ve soaked more to give him and any other visitor a good feed tonight.
It has been so warm today. Potting shed temps 39.4 degrees!!!
